1. Overview

ILSentinel ("we", "us", "the Service") is committed to your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect when you use ILSentinel.net, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

  • Discord profile data — your Discord user ID, username, and avatar URL, obtained via OAuth when you sign in.
  • Uploaded files — .dll / .exe files you submit for obfuscation, held temporarily while your job is active.
  • Job history — file names, timestamps, obfuscation options selected, job status, and expiry times, associated with your account.
  • Subscription entitlements — your active Discord SKU entitlement (if any) to determine your subscription tier.
  • Session data — a server-side session token stored in a secure, HTTP-only cookie to keep you authenticated.

We do not collect your email address, payment details, IP address logs, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate you and associate obfuscation jobs with your account.
  • To process uploaded files and return the obfuscated output.
  • To display your job history and usage statistics on the dashboard.
  • To enforce subscription tier limits and unlock premium features.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.

4. File Retention

Uploaded files and their obfuscated outputs are stored temporarily on our servers and deleted automatically after a short expiry period following job completion. We do not retain, inspect, or analyze the content of your files beyond what is required to perform the obfuscation and deliver the result to you.

5. Discord OAuth and Entitlements

Authentication is handled via Discord's OAuth 2.0 flow. We request only the minimum scopes needed:

  • identify — your Discord user ID, username, and avatar.
  • role_connections.write — used to reflect your subscription tier as a linked role in the ILSentinel Discord server (if applicable).

We do not access your Discord servers, direct messages, friends list, or any other Discord data. Subscription tier is determined by querying Discord's entitlement API for your user ID against our registered SKUs — no payment data passes through our servers. You can revoke our OAuth access at any time from your Discord account's Authorized Apps settings.

6. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only, SameSite session cookie to maintain your authenticated state. This cookie is not used for tracking or advertising. We embed no third-party analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking libraries in the Service.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS for all connections, secure HTTP-only session cookies, and scoped file storage with automatic expiry. No system is entirely immune to security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly through our official channels.

8. Data Retention

Account data (your Discord ID, username, avatar, and job history) is retained for as long as your account is active. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after job expiry (typically within a few hours of completion). You may request full account deletion at any time; see Section 9.

9. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Log out to immediately invalidate your session.
  • Revoke Discord OAuth access from your Discord account's Authorized Apps settings, which will prevent future logins.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us through our official Discord server or GitHub.
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We will action deletion and access requests within a reasonable time frame.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
